Wat Phra Kaew, the temple of the Emerald Buddha officially names "Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram" established in 1782 on the area of the Grand Palace. The central ubosoth in the temple has been enshrined the Emerald Buddha, the sacred respectable Buddha image since the city of Bangkok founded.

The interior of the central ubosoth is magnificently decorated from ceiling to floor. The Emerald Buddha image is enshrined in the middle of the golden throne with several importance Buddha images.


Admission Fee

200 Bath for the foreigner.
